Why did you decide to start Boston Bonbon?
A backpack trip to Europe many moons ago made me fall in love with European pastries. Then I asked myself, why can't we find something similar back home in Boston? And how about putting a unique twist to them? We infuse our French macarons with flavors that are inspired by traveling abroad like Green Tea Latte, Earl Grey, Mango Lassi, Thai Iced Tea & Raspberry Rose.
What Boston-area maker(s) do you admire?
There are a lot of makers that I admire in Boston. I can't say enough about how supportive Nightshift Brewery is. They support local business and treat everyone with respect. As big as they are now, I admire they are still adventurous and like to experiment with new flavors, something very similar to our philosophy.
We Grow Microgreens is another maker that I admire. They are farm-to-table to the core. They are definitely delivering something unique that the Boston's food scene has been craving for a long time!
